Parked somewhere without actions from my side

Hello,

I recently bought a domain name. This domain name was registered at Dynadot. However it redirects to a parking page from bodis.com. I've never redirected it to it and so I thought it would just redirect to a dynadot page, like any other domain I've registered there.

Does a domain stay parked at a place the previous owner left it?

I'm sorry if I worded this vague, I'm not to familiar with technical terms.

Check the nameservers for the domain. You can do this via Dynadot. If they are still NS1.BODIS.com / NS2.BODIS.com then yes it'll stay parked @ Bodis earning the previous owner income until you either change the nameservers or else have Bodis support remove the domain from the previous account and into your Bodis account.

The domain may be pointing to Bodis via DNS too.
