I have found a loophole in the yahoo quality score program! Here is it:

[EDITED]

Just trying to have fun. It's better than keep cursing my EPC and CTR. (Damn, I wish I was a magician!!!)

Those two .00 cent clicks I had on the single domain updated to .24 cents each - on a pron domain yet. Parked rocks, but why the huge swings Donny?

That domain has been in my account for seven or eight months.

24 cents for an adult domain is really decent. :)

I've seen them as high as $1.29 on that same domain with parked.com. No complaints here - just wondering why the huge update swings... :hehe:

And it did finally happen post update - 1 click no cents. Traffic from India/Phillipines this time on a .ca. No big deal considering the traffic source but we are getting to google-like levels here...

Haha...for a minute I was wondering what you were referring to. I guess I made the 1000th post for this thread. Lets hope that turns out auspicious for my CPC too. I'm totally revamping my campaigns. :)

When you add a fresh domain, you get as much as a high quality domain with the same keyword gets paid. So register a keyword(s) (.) (any ccTLD) and with arbitrage, enjoy it till its EPC goes down to hell. Then remove it and do the same with another ccTLD :) Enjoy!!!

Just trying to have fun. It's better than keep cursing my EPC and CTR. (Damn, I wish I was a magician!!!)

Quality score applies to the entire porfolio no?

Care to share some details on what you're doing? (PM me if you like). My CTR is about as active as the proverbial turkey @ Thanksgiving. :(

My CTR a little bit better (from 50% to 60%). My RPC's shot up again.

Yesterday I moved one of my OK OK domain to parked. In about 13 views I got 4 clicks 5 cent a click. The same domain makes 1 $ a day at Bodis. I thought still lets stick out and see what happens....Today morning I checked the stats and all clicks and revenue has disappeared and gone back to zero !

Has this happened to anyone before....

I am very very very surprised

evilopinions - I would say the problem was that one person clicked out all 4 times. And that one person had already clicked out on about 20 other domains yesterday, and Yahoo decided not to pay for any of their clicks.

if you mean 20 other domains of mine then that is incorrect because I only had 13 total views.....

If you mean 20 other from all parked.com domains then I believe this is like a joke...so yahoo I guess will never credit the advertisers and I guess thats where the big hole in the system is...I am not surprised at the amount of money being eaten away by the BIG DOGS

The domain you are talking about that had 4 clicks on 10/21 all of the clicks came from 1 ip address. This one ip address also clicked on 20 other domains in other accounts around the same time as they clicked on your domain 4 times.

Also all of your domains have 13 uniques for the day, the one in question had 6.

I'm not sure what the big dogs reference is, but ok.

Oh Donny,

By big dogs I meant yahoo and people...I just wanted it to be clear between us that I wasnt the one who was doing it..because from the first explanation I felt that you meant I clicked on all 4 different domains or encouraged for that to happen.

Yeah I understand ...Damn that clicker...I am just happy that the revenue was not like 4-5 $ a click. Anyways chill....And thanks you are good at coming back and answering stuff....

It is a possible scenario. Recently, I saw my CTR decline amazingly low. I saw hundreds of visitors with no click throughs. I approached my PPC company and they did investigate the matter. What I understand is that sometimes, competing advertisers might click repeatedly on your ad to deplete your ad budgets and virtually throw you out of KW bids. I have currently changed my PPC campaign providers and am getting better results.

Another scenario is that certain PPC companies themselves send out automated bots to drain your budget and make you increase your spend.

I mean, there are a lot of scenarios where foul play is at work. In your case, it is very possible that an automated bot script was running through different domains on the parked systems and clicking away.

I have also noticed that the adwords content program brings in a lot of suspicious traffic at times. I recently was adjusted for 12 clicks from an adwords campaign. At such times, it is necessary to analyze that its not always that someone is trying to deprive you of your clicks. It could be a genuine issue.

:)
