They have out upon out to explain why they aren't paying what we are paying. We just have to TRUST that they wont "explain away" our clicks, arbitrarily assign click rates or decide to simply not count legitimate clicks.

Where is the accountability? I'm just curious, how can we know for sure?

No, there's no way, and yes, you can't. It's up to you to do the research, ask around, and pick a company you can trust.

Personally, I concentrate on how much *I* take and what *I* can do to improve that, because that's what I can control.

And incidentally, it's pretty close to the same situation you'll get with AdSense, YPN or MSN adCenter ads.

PPC (on the publisher or domain side) is what it is. You trade a significant amount of control and transparency in exchange for the ease of just switching some nameservers, or placing some ad code. You don't have any commitment or contract, and either side can walk away for any reason or for no reason. And because it is what it is, there's not much reason to think anybody's going to significantly change their business model if it doesn't happen to be the same as your business model.

Sorry for being "off topic" here, but I have to make this public in my Beloved thread also.

Namely, some "hacker" used my personal information to open up a "duplicate account" (per NPQueen herself) and start sending out phishing emails, etc.!

My SDX account has been "banned", but I can assure you the Namepros team has been nothing but super helpful and trying hard to get to the bottom of this unbelievable fiasco!
We will find out who played this idiotic joke and try to help other good members from falling victim also.
