Hi, I was looking for a registrar that was not in the US, that had domains not controlled by a US corporation and that would offer full WHOIS Privacy Protection.
In addition, a reasonable price would have been nice.
I thought I found it in Pananames.com
The website looked right.
They are is registered with ICANN
So I went ahead and registered a domain.
Paid with PayPal. The transaction went through without a hitch, and then, when I logged into my Pananames account, I noticed the transaction was labeled "Pending Payment" and would not let me control the domain.
So, considering that their support people are "24x7x365" I sent one e-mail with proof of payment. And another, and another. I used all the e-mails they provided. I used their Contact Us form. Heck! I even call them by phone.
Nothing. Silence.
They don't reply to e-mails.
They don't answer the phone.
Today I received an e-mail (it looks automated) stating that the registration "FAILED" and the quoted reason for failure is "unknown".
They are a scam. They will take your money and run!
My recommendation: stay away from those pirates.

This is your first post here and its a complaint. I don't know much about Pananames.com but your review can't be taken seriously. Can be an attempt to malign honest registrar.

Same with the posting on other forum

I look at it the same way.
Just to come into a forum, and your first post is a complaint?
Always nothing to pay attention to.
You have no standing here.
Try that first to get people here to know you and trust you.
Then complain.

For sure, calling this a scam?
If I was the owner, I would have my lawyer have a serious talk with you.
