Hi to all… I am new here to this forum and I hope I can learn a lot from you guys. To be honest I am here to look for opportunities to start up my business to the right direction.

Currently I am finishing with a friend of mine a dating clone in web 2.0 style of the popular plentyoffish.com dating site which I want to sale online. I think I can learn a lot of online marketing since I have studied traditional marketing.

POF is a good site but could be much better. If you have access to www.WSJ.com, the Wall Street Journal did a home page piece on POF about a month ago. No firm numbers but I'd guess the site is generating millions of dollars a year - all maintained by one guy in his apartment with a bit of admin help from his girlfriend. Not a bad side job.

Yeah, POF is an amazing site which generate more than $9000 USD per day from just Google Adsense! That's why I have create the perfect clone because the succes of the model of the script is a fact and I am sure creative internet entrepreneurs can realize a succesful site as well.. of course not as big as POF, but there are still many opportunities to start a dating site.. think about the niches
