Paid Posters for a Paid Forum?

I have a forum that's just starting and I think I should have someone fill it with posts so it doesn't look like no one likes it. The problem is the forum is part of a members only section, and membership isn't free. Think I should pay someone and give them free access to post? I want posts, but I don't think that sounds like a very good solution. Should I just post a few topics myself and then waiting for my members to have questions and just reply to those?

An empty forum would certainly look bad so it's necessary to have your forum updated with latest posts and threads. Paying to people to post is not the long term solution to this. As soon as the term of the paid posters gets over the activity will stop. Instead of hiring paid posters, you should contribute yourself alongwith the help of your friends and relatives to make your forum look more active.

Yeah, but it's not an easy topic to post about. None of my friends or family could do it. The members area isn't just the forum, though. There's other crap (that's how I got most of the members I have no). The forum was a recent addition, but my current members really aren't using it. I don't know if I should post more to see if I could get them to post, or what, but I think having the forum would be a good idea marketing wise.
