Paid forum posting site?

Hi,

I was asked this question by a friend of mine who want to start one up. Like http://www.inb0x.com/ or http://www.forumbooster.net/

What are people views on setting up a site like this? Would it be useful or is the market saturated with them?

Thanks

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

I would suggest you to do a lot of research and planning before starting such a site. The market is indeed saturated with such sites. If you do start then you need to promote it really well.

As it stands, there is no big leader in the market and I would say that it wouldn't be incredibly hard to get sales. However, it's a very niche market and the numbers might not work out as well as you might think. My advice would be to see what everyone else does; how well they do it and what you could offer over and above them.

I run a paidposting listing website. You can view what other companies offer. You could possibly do some research off of this site to set pricing and price quotas and possibly see what others offer to give you and idea. The link is http://www.paidposthelp.info There is a freelance listing for paid posters, article writers, moderators and admins. You can submit all this information yourself. You can start from there.

And just remember even if you are popular or are listed high in Google, MSN and Yahoo doesn't always mean you are the best service. It just means you paid out or did alot of SEO/Web directory - listing submissions, and big time advertising. I should know I have put this site together amd did some research for it. Do your research and target in on a special feature you want to promote that others maybe aren't doing or great at.

Many people bad mouth this business. But than many payout for this service. Becuase they do not want others in the web development community to know that they have used such a service. I know there are over 27+ paid posting services out there. I know one person who made over $1500 in 2 months. Another company made over $2700 in 3 months. So as much as there is bad mouthing of such services, there apparently is a need for it. In addition I know that 3 of the big companies (inb0x, paidposts and adhocpost) sold their companies between $1000 and $5000+. These services are in demand and make real money.

Sounds great, if you pay consistently and well, and only hire really quality posters, you will attract much business and of course thos quality posters you need. Best of luck with the development.

I was wondering why you would make this conclusion?
