Hello NP Programmers,

We recently purchased a new site and are having some cross browser compatibility issues with it, and the previous owner is being of no help at all for us. We spent quite a bit on the site and need to get these problems fixed fast so we don't tick off the current members and can feel confident to start promoting it to new members.

We are facing 2 problems on our site c b n a t o r (dot) c o m

Rather than try to explain the problem here I have created a quick video demonstrating the 2 problems we are facing. Everything is working fine in firefox and the 2 problems we have our with internet explorer. So we feel this is just a cross browser compatibility issue with the code. We are looking for someone that is very experienced in PHP and JavaScript to resolve these issues quickly.

We are willing to pay to have these things fixed as we need them fixed quickly. If you feel you are qualified to handle the job then please watch the video to understand the problems we are having. If you think you can get it fixed quickly then please let us know and also let us know how much you expect to be paid to make the changes.

Please take a look at the video link below:

Thank You

Try adding:

HTML:
<!--[if IE 9]>
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" value="IE=8" />
<![endif]-->

To the page that displays the framed site.

I tried the link in compat. mode and it worked fine. It must be something with IE9, but that should work for now.

Thanks for the reply.

What do you mean by "you tried the link in compat. mode"?

In my video i show I am using ie 8 and it's not working, not ie 9.

Are you available for hire?

@ Eric

We have used the code sample you suggested to force both ie 9 and ie 8 to be shown as ie7 and that has fixed the problem.

Thank you

Do you know of a similar code to make firefox 4 act as though it was firefox 3.7.6?
