Pagerank: Live vs Toolbar

Yesterday, my www.lookwhatdavefound.info was a PR 4 on the Google Toolbar. This morning, nothing! Same for www.mrzilla.com (PR3, then nothing).

Checking the Live PR at http://livepr.raketforskning.com/ shows the live PR is still intact at either 4 or 3, then why doesn't it show on the toolbar? Anyone know?

My guess is the Live PR is more accurate as it's updated continuously. Just curious as to why the toolbar is not showing a rank for these sites.

hmmm...sometimes i happens to me too. Just had our site on PR3 last week then went back to nothin the next day.I'll check our the live PR you posted

I had the same thing happen recently with my forum.

http://www.opensourceforum.com/ has stayed 1, but http://www.opensourceforum.com/forum/ jumped to 2, but was 0 a couple days ago and now it is back to 2.

Mine are back now too, it seems.. hopefully they'll stay that way. I imagine it could be because they are still in the middle of the current PR update.

DC= DataCenter and the IP is the DataCenter IP.

I've noticed the same thing with some of my sites. My guess is that toolbarqueries.google.com might resolve to different server clusters at different times. Now, since backlinks to sites are in a constant process of being discovered and propagated across all server clusters (the ones that calculate SERP ranks as well as the ones that calculate and analyze backlinks), but there's a time lag involved. This leads to wild fluctuations. One of my sites has swung between 5 and 0 quite frequently in recent times.

ya my website says 0/10 on the bar and on other page rank sites is says 3/10
