OVT results updating period

I wonder if someone knows what is the period in which overture results on particular keyword are updated?

I was thinking it is monthly, but I saw a change in just a week.

Basically what I want to do is monitor some domain's ovt w/ext results, but I don't want to do it every day if I don't have to..

they update monthly, usually not on the same day and usually in the middle of the month.

Is there a way to tell that they have made the update and when?

only by knowing an ovt score from the previous month and comparing, thats the only way I think.
