.mobi OVT.mobi now up and running!

Hello all! Just in case anyone wanted to know, OVT.mobi is now up and running, there's still a little work to do but the basic structure is there and it's useable! It's only scoring 4/5 at present due to the fact i haven't been able to start the shrinking process for the text etc. But it's there and it's running! Check it out it could prove quite useful to domainers on the move! I know it works on Motorola V3x's but any input from people with other types of phone would be most appreciated!! Cheers Chris

Yeah I've spent in total about 3 hours on it from scratch, but i've only been able to host it as OVT.mobi today as it's been in the transfer stage. I'm working away from home at the moment so i haven't been able to edit any of the site or iron the creases so hopefully next week i'll get cracking on graphics and content. But the idea's there and seems to work fine for now anyway! Thanks for your words of encouragement!!

Nice work and site aggieuk. Quick too!! I'd like to add my LocalConnect.mobi, and LVH.mobi to your website link page if that's possible. Also, you may want to lighten the grey background a bit, as it appears pretty dark on my BlackJack, and with dark lettering...

this is a wonderful and very useful service for domainers. There have actually been times when I was out that I wanted to look up ovt, now I can!

I don't think there would be any problems, there were other sites with an OVT script and it seems they are quite established and seem to have no probs, so hopefully my disclaimer will point out that i don't claim to be anything to do with overture. I can't see it being a big deal to be honest. If any C&D's did arrive i'd just have to remove the script and put something else in it's place to aid domainers in their search for that golden egg!!!

Someone else in another thread mentioned O/t wasn't going to be updated anymore, perhaps it was a rumour???

Oh well i'll have to think about putting some other function on instead of o/t keyword checks then if the worse does happen! I hope not though!!!

I had some timeout error in your site. Can't you do a try/catch to give a nice message ?
