I'm new to the overture count system, how much traffic should I expect to get if I register a domain that has an overture count of 2,000?

Well you cant honestly say, it will all depend on how well your name/site gets listed in the engines as far as engine traffic goes.

Does the name have a score with the extension?

it varies a lot...

I have seen names that score 100 w/ extension and get no traffic, I have also seen names score 30 w/ extension and get 500 visitors per day...

At the end of the day, if you can find some good explanation for the overture numbers, then the domain probably gets some traffic

Thanks for the information, does that mean that the domain can have a large overture count w/extension and still not receive traffic?
