This was added to YouTube on Feb 22, just a few days ago! Over 2 million views and 18,000 comments later.. it illustrates the potential power of viral video and video sharing. But hey, it's a video featuring a really cute kid talking about Star Wars! Take a look!

Luck of the draw? I'm not diminishing the little girl by any means.
However, there are countless videos out there that are by far more entertaining, funny or mesmerizing, and they have difficulties cracking a few thousand views.
I wonder how much traffic their main blog is getting from the youtube exposure?

I agree.. by and large these videos that go viral are just luck. But cute kids, puppies, etc seem to help I couldn't pull 2 million views in 3 years, let alone 4 days!

Be nice if there were some magic formula..

Maybe if I dress up in a cute Labrador puppy costume and talk through a dummy stuck in my mouth about episodes of Star Wars whilst wagging my tail and attempting backward flip somersaults, well, whatever it takes to get that kind of traffic!

Almost 2,700,000 views now! Can't see what the incredible attraction of this is myself, but there you go.
