DENIC reported the 15 million domain has been registerd. The press release proudly stated "on April 18th 2012 at 12:56 it was regisitred, the 15 millionth domain with the extention .DE ,the domain "floristennetzwerk.de" (eng. FlorstNetwork)"I want to build an online sales portal with my website for ordering flowers online without the middleman" said domain owner Alexander Kleerebezem.
The statistics of the more important domain extentions show that .de is one of the top players.
