I have planed to open an Outsource Solutions Company....

What i want is to take web development projects from the firms which are outsourcing there work...

We will provide low-cost, high quality and really very fast turnarounds...

My Question: Since its a new thing to me... and i am sure there are many members are here who have well experienced in this field...

Please advise me " Do and Donts".... any useful resources that will help me as a guide of outsourcing.... getting contracts...

here is a quick question list:

- Is this useful?
- Do and Donts.
- How to get contracts with firms.
- What are normal rates of market? (we will be providing e-commerce, Admin end sites.)
- any other tips, resource, useful Urls

I will really thankful to you if you give me your time helping answering the questions above.

Thanks a lot.

I have outsourced several projects through the site GetAFreeLancer.com. I have experienced good and bad issues. One of the problems Ive had in dealing with this site is that things arent always very clear due to a language barrier. I find that when outsourcing, I have to be VERY VERY specific, where as when I deal with a local webmaster, they will often use creativity to complete the project, when I use a developer from Get a Freelancer - they will typically do the bare minimum of what is asked.

I had a similar concept of yours, Because I now have contacts with several developers, I picked up uOutsource.com - I have plans to turn it into a service for companies to purchase cheap web development.

Contracts with firms? Advertise. Go on web boards and development forums and start getting out your name. Cold calling is also a nice thing. I would search for sites that are older - and contact the owners about a redesign.

Normal rates vary. They of course depend on exactly what the customer wants. But I recently paid for a flash game - $150 (all custom). I also had a dynamic site built for $600 (also custom).

Best of luck

Thanks a lot :) really helpful... i am looking for firms who regularly outsource the projects to one company... ( i know 4 ,5 firms in my area who are doing same ) they actually have a contract base work... for example... they give a contract of 1 year that you will be providing them outsource solutions... etc..

i want to hear others comments too...
