Hi, I am new around here. I am going to sell off two of my aged local domains. I am going to use the outbound method mentioned by @Isac (www.namepros.com/threads/i-sold-my-1st-domain-for-1200.1012352/). It's pretty clear what type of local business I am to approach to be most effective, though I am in the process of nailing in the initial asking price. As I don't want to overwhelm the potential buyers, should I start off with 80% to 200% more than I am expecting to get?

P.S. If 3d.com was sold for 500K, do you reckon the initial asking price was something like 1.5M? I hope I am not comparing apples and oranges.

No, this is a crazy price, you need to start in the mid xxx or low x,xxx range for this.

.hk is the main ext used in HK, there is not a big demand for .com.hk domains

Good luck

Three letter .com is pure gold while as Two letter .com is very very precious. No doubt 3d is good keyword but i fully agree with @gilescoley that .hk is the main ext used in HK, there is not a big demand for .com.hk domains. You should start with High xxx - low xxxx

Thanks guys. I am located in HK and only registered businesses can purchase .com.hk domains (whereas anyone can purchase a .hk domain). We'll see how it goes.
