Just wondering, are there any Orkut users in here?
Also what do you think - will it succeed, like most of the stuff Google does, or is it doomed to fail?

mostly social networking site are dependent on their numbers or membrship and orkut got the members so i think yes it will succeed.

I'm surprised to see those numbers as I rarely hear it mentioned.. of course, numbers don't mean a thing unless those are "active" members... I used to have an email service with a few hundred members but just a few active users.

it's a closed group, so you won't "hear" much of it, but it's not as active as myspace, as in myspace everything goes there.
but it's one area social networking that needs some exploring for some quite a few traffic.
