Hello,

I was wondering, are 3 character .ORG domains (2 letters + number) worth anything good?

Thanks

First of all, thanks for your reply mate!

But how much would i get for something like r3t.org for example? or something that doesn't have a lot of meaning but is a 3 character..? Would it even get sold for a mere $5 more than the price for a normal domain?

Thanks again

Kerri's 3character.com was the best suggestion, :imho: , but I got a kick out of the above reply ;)

Anyway, a good potential use 3 character.org would be a good buy ( mp9.org sounds fun, US1.org , etc. ), although random 3 chars will be a speculative long-term play before any market shift makes them a desirable quantity.

Best of luck,
-Allan :gl:

.org domains are selling for less than $2 at many of the resellerclub resellers including whiz.in. (emerging markets from Africa, Asia and South America only receive this deal) The majority of the 3 character .info domains were purchased by bulk purchasers in June and July because of their low prices ($.60) at regfly. There is a chance that similar bulk orders for the remaining 11000-12000 3character .org domains because of today's low prices will result in the 3 character .org domains some time this year.

Historically, once a type of short domain name runs out the value rises at steady rates due to the fact that people consider them safe investments that have a good minimum selling price.

That said, 3 character .org domains don't have much value to most people today and are definately a gamble.

in the 3character.com, the price guide also indicate the random 3character .org just reg fee, so, there is no much conflict what what I said, right? did I miss anything here? I still feel random 3character.org worth nothing....

I was more referring to the comment that LLL.org's weren't worth very much ;)

And a little bit on the idiomatic side of your statement - "worth nothing" could be correct, but "worth reg-fee" might be better, or even "worth very little". Just my .02, yet again.

I do believe in the limited success in LLN.org... particulary LL1.orgs :) . 0 in wild left, and I own a nice 18.78% market share :).

Some guy told me that they should be worth around $10 a piece.
