Optimizing on parked

I set up my domains at parked about 2 weeks ago. I did some basic keywords and layout changes on most.

I'm not getting that much traffic, but perhaps they need to be indexed?
How do you go about getting a ton of domains indexed?

Is there a reference somewhere on how to optimized parked pages to get more traffic? I know a lot depends on the name in the first place.

How workable is it to buy traffic for parked sites? Is this what I see referred to as arbitrage?
