I received an offer for 2 domains on the 18th March here on Namepros, which i accepted and sent my paypal details for them to pay, i didn't hear from the buyer until a week later, then i am told that "they don't know which register to push to do they will get back to me soon" it is now 2 days later and no payment or no contact, i think i am being messed about, surely if they wanted them they would have sent payment and organised which registrar they wanted them to be transfered to.
Or even just sent payment and said be back in touch soon, the fact they are never around worries me if we run into any problems i won't be able to contact them.and as such i have now asked for wire transfer to my bank as i am suspicious.
During this period i have sold and completed the sale of 3 names, which begs the question do you think i am being messed around?

A couple of days with the different time zones around here is not much.. I have had deals take weeks but have known the buyers most of the time so didn't really worry.....

I would sit tight for a bit ..

:)

Hope all goes through smoothly soon for you

I would just inform the buyer that this transaction needs to be completed in a reasonable amount of time. That said, a few days is not too much in order to complete a transaction. Howevever you should simply push the domain to another account at your current registrar as soon as you recieve payment, then the buyer can worry about transfering it out in 60 days.

Thanks for your advice, a few days isn't much as you said, however it is now 9 days since i accepted and sent my details for their payment, which i think is a bit to long really, if they weren't around they should have just told me but as it is, i am now not sure about them.

I always pay straight away ( depending on rep etc)to let the seller know i am serious, i just think it is courtesy to do so.
Or if not, then set a date you both agree to, but at the very least maintain some form of communication.

Nine days is way too much. 24/48hrs is normal. I'd send them an email telling them the domains aren't sold until they're paid for and you reserve the right to sell them to anyone else. Then just wait it out whilst still trying to get new offers on the domains.

Still no response from the buyer, i have just sent another Pm to them.

It is now 2 weeks tomorrow and apart from the original offer pm i have had 1 private message last Sunday saying they didn't know what registar to transfer them to.
No payment ,no reply to my messages or anything else, surely it is not hard in this day and age to get access to a computer for 5 mins just to let me know what is happening or to make a payment?

Ps Moderators please feel to check the accuracy of this by checking my sent and received pm's if you wish to do so.
