Opening coffee can be a hazard

I wake up this morning,I have to open a new container of coffee,So i have the container up close to my face and i peeling back the seal.And POOOFFF! Vacume sealed,Oh yea! It like blew out of the can and all over my face.LOL,And i mean it came out of that container with some power too.Needless to say,But i have had my java for the day.lol

Vacume sealed,I guess to vacume sealed with this container! LOL..Never had this happen before in all the years i've been drinking coffee.

just seems an odd way to package coffee. in the uk we sling it in a jar. cover the top in foil and off we go.

They vacume seal it here to keep the freshness,It takes all the air out of the container,Thus when it opens it will expand back to normal.But i've never had one blow up on me.That java was ready to get some air! :lol:
