What are your thoughts on .online domains?
It's very generic and not as ugly as .xyz for example, so that's a plus - but perhaps a little too long to have any success...
Plus most good names are either unavailable or premium...

too long and the fact you are typing an url in a browser that is connected means you are online anyway ...

true, "online" is longer than "xyz", however it's easier to type and "xyz". because since you have to curl your fingers under your have for the "x" and "z" keys, and these are some of the least used letters in the alphabet, "xyz" can be more awkward and slower to type than "online". the redunacy factor is not a big issue as most people don't really understand the nature and meaning behind the extensions anyway, even today. but that's one noobs opinion.
