What are your thoughts on .online domains?
It's very generic and not as ugly as .xyz for example, so that's a plus - but perhaps a little too long to have any success...
Plus most good names are either unavailable or premium...

The more I look at .online, the more confident I get that this extension will be golden in the future.

I think it will cross .click in couple of months.

Ive been regging 4l brandables and just today i find Radix (registry) had registered the name loza.online almost exactly a month ago. They seem to be quite liberal in adding names for their own agenda... Hopefully im wrong.

493 LLL remaining.... minus the ones I'm grabbing now.

97.2% TAKEN

And that'll do it: LLL are 100% gone!

Now all 1L to 3L are gone, and 1N to 4N are gone. Next up is 4L and 5N. If we keep averaging that 1,500 to 2000 mark registered on a daily basis, which has been this way for a couple weeks now, we'll see another 500,000 to 600,000 .online hand reg'd this year. Would be nice to see the gtld surpass 1 million, I guess anything is possible the way these markets are going.

The important thing was that .online was getting bought up even prior to the $1 sales. 1N to 4N and 12.5k of the 17.6k 3L were bought before the promo at $7-9 dollar prices.

@Jacks86 which one would you rather prefer - 4L or 5N?

It depends on what you can get since right now there are premiums existing for both. But I've always liked 5N over 4L. 75% less combinations existing and it's straight forward. 4L if you don't have proper letter combos are hard to move and it's not as straight forward as 4 and 0.

For some reason I regged a few 5N's the other day:

88122
88133
88155
88177
88211
88677
88771
88773
88775
88776
88992

Gotsta diversify, ya know? I'm probably throwing money away, but hey it's less than $15.

* Disclaimer: I am not suggesting anyone start registering 5N. These are the only ones I'm buying.

Sold an .ONLINE for $579. Reached out to an end user and made the sale quickly. Can't go into specifics, sorry.... but I'm happy to say that that one sale paid off my entire .online portfolio.

Congrats. Is it a LLL or a descriptive domain?

Imho it wont be too hard to sell .onlines at around $1,000 - 5,000 range, granted your names 'qualify'.

Its definitely starting to get a little bit more difficult to pick out the good ones. Most big traffic keywords that i've seen are taken

I did pick up a few more german ones that have a good amount of traffic
clevertanken.online (smart gas fillup)
kfzsteuerrechner.online ( motor vehicle tax calculator)
kfzsteuer.online (motor vehicle tax)
symptome.online (symptoms)

Just doing some comparisons with regards to gtld growth compared to release date and .online is doing quite well compared to others.

https://www.webnames.ca/domain-registration/new-domain-name-launch-schedule.aspx

August 26th 2015 was the release date and given that the average day there's 1500 to 2000 registered, .online will be over 500,000 before the end of the year at that rate.

.PRO, .PARTY, .LOAN, .CLICK, .WEBSITE, etc all those came out in early to mid 2014. Even the new big ones like .xyz and .top came out 2014. I think besides .ONLINE, .WIN is another recent winner in terms of registrations.

Looks like .online is now not on sale at Godaddy any longer. The price is now roughly $10 per .online with them, but namecheap.com still has them for the $0.88 promo price. Grab'em now Boys and Girls.. right now you have the chance to pick them up for cheap and 1*$10 sale (I have confidence in all of you to at least close a $10 sale lol) can pay for 10 more potential domains.

No I dont work for Namecheap, but I will accept job offers.
