"Online" domain?

I want to register a domain with "online" word in it.
But when I checked whois for "online.info" here what I got:

Trademark Name: online
Trademark Date:1999-08-25
Trademark Country:Germany
Trademark Number:39951961

does that mean that I can't register any domain with this word? but how could that be? I saw lots of domains with it :td:

Well online.com is owned by CNet, online.info is Germany's T-Mobile website. The term online is trademarked in that sense but there is no way you will not have the right to use it in your domain. It's true that so many people use it, and it is impossible for them to argue a trademark infringement because it is such a generic term.

I was quite surprised when I saw that this word is trademarked.
Now I feel a little better,and will go to reg the domain as soon as it will work for me,as I just tried to reg info domain here,at NamePros,but it gave me an error

I could almost bet you that every "generic" word is TMed in some way or form, so don't be too surprised.
