what more, probably it will not be possible to resell at all, unless buyer is very uninformed in this area, or he or she likes to take huge risks

My advice, dont even try to sell it.

Perhaps, contact them and offer to transfer it to them (for free obviously). Tell them you wanted to create a website for the build up of the Olympic Games 2020 and didn't realize it was TM. So you decided to transfer the domain to them to avoid any drama... maybe, they might decide to give a you a little something something...lol. Bronze medal.

I agree with this, although I doubt they will give you anything. If you do decide to put anything on the domain then you can only really put something directing people to the IOC website. I wouldn't risk trying to monetize it.

I have the domain bionicolympics.org and .com and haven't done anything with them as yet. Was hoping someone would create a Bionic Olympics, but then they did and called it the 'Cybathalon'

It is infringement if you are using a trademarked name for the same or a similar purpose, you are free to use Olympics for anything apart from something related to, or in any way attempting to profit from, the Olympic games.
