Hi Guys,

I just received my wordtracker hit report and was surprised to find that Olympic Beach Volleyball had 4308 hits yesterday. I just picked up OlympicBeachVolleyball.com and net last week. I also registered OlympicsBeachVolleyball.com and net.

What do you think these domains are worth or what could I do with them? There was a lot of nice butt on the court. I would appreciate any input. Thanks.

Hits, or "search requests"? :blink: Do you have a link you can share for the Word Tracker ... could be useful for lots of us.

Think there may be some potential ™ issues here, IMHO ... which will limit the upside for these domains, plus they are three words and very long (though specific).

wordtracker.com - click on trial. It's free but you only get the report once a week. Includes the top 300 queries from the last 24 hours and top 200 for the last 60 days. Not bad.

I think you may be right about the TM. Sedo won't let me list it. Anyone what to buy them and take a chance?

TM Issues? can the olympics Tm something like that? if so, what or who is the"owner" of it? the IOC?

To me, that is like trademarking the word Baseball... its just too vague of a term to qualify. regardless of the olympic in it's name..

however, not being a fan I can't offer a true and fair apr.

It seems from the mentioned link that the five interlocking rings; the words "Olympic, " "Olympiad" and "Citius Altius Fortius," and also the words "Paralympic," "Paralympiad," "Pan-American" and "America Espirito Sport Fraternite," or any combination of these words; belongs to the US olympic committee.

I live in The Czech Republic, and .com is generic. Does the olympic beach volleyball belong to America. I thought all countries belonged to the Olympics.

my thoughts exactly Markts. I know its jeuvenile to think this way, but the olympics is for athletes (non pro) and to show world unity in at least ONE friggin thing. for any org or nation to profit from it by copywritting or trademarking it, just ruins the whole concept and goes against the sportsmanship aspect of it.

I guess nothing is pure anymore.
