Oldest Recorded Domain Names

I've spun this thread out of the following one:

hoping to find the oldest recorded domain name.

So far the following have been quoted as being the oldest domains in there respected TLDs. Date format is YYYY-MM-DD.

Does anyone know of any that are older. Perhaps a .MIL or a .ARPA?

NORDU.NET 1985-01-01

Wow! 1983? Who was handling registrations back then?

Just found the following data for the .ARPA TLD

.ARPA 1985-01-01

Would seem to indicate that domains in this TLD would be on or after this date.

Also .MIL TLD

.MIL 1985-01-01


According to another forum the .SE TLD was created in 1986 and these were the first .SEs:

These are supposed to be the first domain names ever created when DNS was being invented although the activation dates vary?
