Hey guys, i recently became an affiliate of shareasale so anyways ive been promoting products for this merchant right and just today i decided to begin to cloak my affiliate links with usercash.com

and these are the results after i converted one of my links and i test it by clicking on it.

the link is fine except there is ads that pop up on top of the page, and this is what i dont like

Are merchants known for doing this...putting pop up ads on their affiliate links.
Usercash.com claims is not them doing that.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

No they are not, try your aff link directly and see if there is popups.

p.s also im not very excited right now about cloaking since someone else told me that it is dangerous because they said google can bann you for this

Right, so just avoid usercash.com from now on.

If you need to "cloak" just buy a domain name and mask it in the godaddy control panel to your aff link.

i think im done with cloaking

mmmmmm sounds like a nice idea, but what does masking do exactly

It creates a frameset. one loads the requested data and the other just keeps the URL hidden.

u may do this by simple HTML, just create a file, lets say "link.html" and place a frameset in there, you can also use PHP more functional (yoursite.com/link?affiliate) keeps it nice and cloaked.

why not use your own domain to do this so you have control?
another cloaker to use to get paid is ucash.in try it as well.

ucash.in, eh? thanks.

what exactly do you do to cloak a link? I have domains... do I just forward my domain to my aff link or what? just not getting it

why do people even want to?

Can i have some more details?

I personally would just buy a new domain name to cloak it. It looks way better and 95% of the people don't notice anyways

You can forward your domain to the affiliate link or use a tiny url type script if you want to forward multiple affiliate links.

Advantages include shortening really long affiliate URLs (that may make people uncomfortable about clicking on them) or to disguise affiliate links so search engine spiders dont see them.
