Ok sorry for this stupid question fellas but I just want to make sure about the correct process.

I'm going to be selling all my websites, domains and hosting to the same person not sepertly to a bunch of people. Now for the websites and host I guess I''ll just change the user and billing profile right?

Now I was woundering if I can do the same thing with the domains I got them all registered with outfront domains and seeing I'm not going to use my account there anymore can I just change the user and billing profile on my account there and be done with it or is there a different process.

Thanks

You can push your domains to a new owner if your registrar has that feature. Changing your info on your account is risky since it may still have your billing info (Credit Cards, etc.)

They do have an option to deactivate payment method I think that might get rid of my credit card info but I'm not 100% sure I guess I'll have to check it out.

Do not just change the account information and hand it over to someone else. That's a bad idea, as you may not have removed all your credit card or billing information, and it obscures the actual nature of the transactions (selling your domains and sites).

Depending on the registrar you will find several ways of moving the domains. Some registrar give you the option to just check a button and all your Who-Is information, including billing!, will be replaced with the new owner's information. (eNom has this feature), GoDaddy asks you to supply detailed information about the new owner, i'd advise you to fill these fields out with true information, not just "John Doe", as this information will overwrite your Who-Is information. Your billing info should auto clear in this move. Also, if in doubt, call your registrar and clear the details with them.

The site content: Zip and email, OR, if you provide this type of service, install them for the new owner if they want that - then they can make their own backups.

Make sure you change all ftp/database passwords too and encourage the new owner to change them once transfer has taken place (C.Y.A. in the event they're compromised right after transfer) . Passwords for ftp & sites should never be the same as any email address that has the ability to push/transfer domain, Paypal, eBay, your bank account, etc.

Some people use a universal password and sell their site to someone else thinking nothing of it, bad bad practice.
