How much are .cc domains worth ? Just wanna know

I don't really know how well .cc sell but I think a strong keyword domain has some value in most extensions so I picked up viral, photographer and domainsales all in .cc in the last month or so. Might end up a long term investment in comparison to the selling power of a .com but hey, for almost reg fee I don't mind waiting.

It's getting a bit like .co - a cool, youthful, snappy extension for start ups.

Thats good to hear but its in total contrast to what Ive seen. Im pretty sure that not a single person I know is even aware .co or .cc exists and Ive never seen one in use.

Both were mentioned casually and in passing in The Sunday Times recently here in UK, as examples of successful online businesses. A friend was talking about cdcovers.cc (a rather geeky archive site of DVD and album covers) last week too. Maybe the UK/Ireland is more open to quirky short extensions than other regions. Dunno.

As far as i know the longer words are speculation at the moment but when you can pick up strong words for almost reg fee i think its worth a small risk. The LLL and NNN and smaller have proven value that will probably rise too. Personally I only have 2 or 3 single english keyword .cc domains and wont buy any more unless they are very strong.

Great Thanks, but the word like Investment got sold only in $255 so I was thinking about the English keywords even.

I think investment sold faily low because .cc isnt on many peoples radar at the moment and thats what makes it a risk. Whoever won that auction is speculating that .cc is going to grow in strength for english keyords and then they have a monster. Ive always thought that an english keyword of that strength will have value in most extentions anyway.

Regarding English keywords, I think that they have just begun recently to get a little higher prices. A few months ago, I don't know that Investment would've even got to $100. So, the trend is up -- that's what I see.

LLL.cc's are selling like hotcakes. I've had offers up to $300 for daj.cc in the past 2 weeks (I hand registered the domain in 2013 after it dropped), but am holding out for a bit more. It's amazing how things can change so unexpectedly in this market.
