I wonder if a fellow NP member has been smarter (from 2006):
IMO I think the .cc extension is fine for a unique domain. It has a nice ring to it. Of course some domains work or sound better with them but they've got decent value I would say judging by a lot of these posts. I wouldn't turn down a good keyword cc if I saw it that's for sure.
Picked up naughty.cc to add to my little collection.
Just got a low offer for a premium cc domain I can't disclose right now as the buyer requested. To give an idea let's suppose that vodka.com sells few months ago for 100 000 USD and I have a 10 000 USD offer for vodka.cc. Keep it or sell it? Thanks.
So it's a one word domain? And I guess it's 10% of the recent com sale?
Depends in the range that the offer is. If we are talking for $x,xxx than yes, go for it. If we are talking for $xxx(low mid) it's a maybe, for high $xxx it's good if the generic word isn't that premium. If for less than $xxx than you can wait as no big loss is involved.
all for sale.
I have this one PersonalLoans.cc
Yep, is 10% of the recent .com sale - 10.000 USD. I think I gonna pass this one and wait for more. Thanks everyone.
10k for a .cc I would jump all over it personally. Id bite their hand off so fast Id be upto their elbow lol.
Hell even 1k. Ive sold .cc for 1k when the .com would be 6 figures easily.
These .cc are proving very hard to sell even great one words.
Short domains seem to have a huge market in China. Besides that yes.
I'd rethink that decision. Try to contact some more experienced members via pm, maybe they would give a better suggestion knowing the domain
Best of luck.
Does anyone know exactly what was said about .cc at the Europe conference which is mentioned here: http://dnjournal.com/lowdown.htm
should renew economy.cc or not?
Separate names with a comma.
