advice Obtaining Matching Handle

Hey all,
A slight off-topic question that does feed on - has anyone had any luck being able to obtain the matching handle to their domain? Such as for business purposes.

Usually these handles are taken, but contacting twitter they give it to you (if you go through their questioning).

It works, if the account you are reporting is inactive & has no followers.

you'll need to set up a website/page for the matching domain, make it look like a business in progress.

make sure to email them from a paid email, matching the domain.

Thank you for feedback, the reason I ask is I did try to message them previously only to have them want actual documentation - sadly it's not a registered business (yet). Have you got any particular advice or where I should email / respond?

If you really need the handle, get a business card, send them a copy along with a snapshot of the "whois" info.

Perhaps they'll stop asking for the trademark registration & give it to you.

Thank you, yeah I did recently get a bunch of them made for that reason mainly. Just frustating when you can get the handle on one social (eg insta), but not twitter.

Hey @MS-Domains,
I highly appreciate the help from you. I've written up a long email to them, I did state I attached a business card but awkwardly realised I never actually attached one.

Now to hope for the best
