The list of around 3878 names were released today and from what I saw there are a bunch of .TV domains in auction this time around. Not a killer amount but many more than the last traffic. Did anyone enter a .TV name that was selected?

I am very iritated by moniker - In fact very very upset. I sent in request to have names put on the list 2 days before deadline.... so what does the moniker rep do - he sends me the form 30 minutes before frigging deadline so I got the application to him about 1 hour after the deadline and my names never made it in.

Thanks domainacrobat :bingo:

You are welcome!

I am sooooooooooo dissapointed by monkier.

I submitted censored.tv and was so excited to have in in the auction becasue Censored.com SOLD at the first quarter TRAFFIC auction for $58,000 and this would have been the perfect oppertunity to get a premium price for Censored.tv!!! DAMNIT! I entered it for Reserve $5k and I bet with all the hype and hooplah about .TV reaching overload plus the previous awsome sale of Censored.com my name would have been a HIT! But alas my moniker rep replied with the speed of dripping molasses hangin me out to dry. I am pretty iritated having turned down $XXXX interest with thte pending auction. :'(

Overall I only submitted censored.tv and prints.tv plus some great 10 year old adult .coms like adultlinkpage.com and adultbroadcasting.com I could have made a fortune in JUNE - I hate you moniker rep who will go un-named....

Is it worth submitting some of our .TV names to the Afilliate summit in July?

Sorry, although the dot .tv marketing has started not even a month ago. IMO I would not consider submitting a .tv name to any auction yet, too early, so I wouldn't be too worried if I where you ;)

Thanks for the nice words. I just have plans to move in July and it would have been oh so timely for me! I am a photogrpaher by trade and planning a move back to Los Angeles from Hawaii. I have to move before I get in debt anymore. There is no market here for what I do. my site not really a fashion market here and Im going broke trying to make it work. The only thing that keeps me afloat is domians, LOL. The TRAFFIC auction would have been perfect for me! It not that Im a bad photographer, its just he wrong place for my talents. I am sure ther is alot more to be made if I hold, but I needed a cash infusion to fund my move and photography. TRAFFIC would have been great!

Marlowe, it might help to know this. Hundreds of names per person sometimes are submitted from all over and as you know it is a cumbersome process of filling out the spreadsheet itself for a seller with all the information they require. Of all those names submitted Moniker came out with 3,878 or so names of which I think 15 were .TV My point is the odds of having a .TV selected at this time is very small and to actually sell is even smaller. One of the biggest problems in Moniker auctions is when you get an email for consideration on a name they sometimes ask you to lower your reserve but don't say even if you do that you will then be accepted. On top of that, they will not tell you if your name will be in the live or silent auction. It makes a difference when deciding on you reserve, imo. Outside of the obvious straightforward generic .coms you never know what type of name they will select. I do a double take many times when I see certain names on a list that make it and why others did not and get Great Domain confusion syndrome.

As John said, hold on to your good .tv names there will be plenty of opportunities ahead as demand grows.

Its not that they did not select my names. The thing is they didnt even get a chance to consider my names. I would have appreciated the oppertunity to actually be considered. Getting me the form 30 minutes before the deadline is not really fair. I was waiting all day for his email, then I had to take my girlfriend to work. I was gone for about 30 minutes. I got back right at the deadline and of course the form arrived 5 minues after I left. Technically leaving me about 27 minutes to fill out a long form is not really ideal.

Yes, I would agree with that. They always give these things out at the last minute. I have missed many times submitting because I only had an hour to put something together, it is very unfortunate.

Background.tv is owned by a NP member - thefabfive
Clicks.tv looks like a NP member owns it too - maphilli
FallSeason.tv and Localshows.tv owned by NPer - Nattydomain
StockCar.tv - owned by NP member Dagersh
DormGirl.tv - owned by Np member BuzzGuyz

Of course many names do change hands, its possible some of these may not be accurate.

SO it looks Like its pretty much all from NP LOL! 66% :kickass:
