I just reg this back in October NWYKC.COM and listed on Sedo, in that time the results

DOMAIN STATISTICS:
Unique Visitors per month*: 73
Visitors to this Sedo Listing*: 100
Previous Offers for this Domain: 20

* Data from the previous 31 days

Data above is from the listing on Sedo

Anyone know what this domain is worth as I am looking to sell

I reg this as it looked liked New York City it's not the correct abbreviation but still 20 bids is not bad in under a month and already has made 30.99 euro this month parked.

Any help would be great

Too much money for this parked domain!
Good that is short but I would say Reg Fee

Actually it's better than most people think, and it IS a correct abbreviation; the most common abbrev for New York of course is NY, and NYC for New York City.

A less common abbrev is yours, but still very useable, NW YK, for NeW YorK, where all letters are the beginning and end of each word of New York, and the C on the end is for City.

I'm surprised it makes much revenue but in hindsight it does make sense, and I'm not surprised you're getting bids for it... anyone in New York would like this as an affordable city abbreviation for their personal or business site. I think you stumbled upon one of those 'under the radar' good available names that will make you a good return.

Now that we have this info, it's a little difficult to appraise; if the traffic keeps up it will be a good traffic earner for you, and should be sold for minimum of 2 or 3 years X its monthly earnings. But the end users are obviously liking it and bidding, so if it was me, I'd just keep hitting the 'reject offer' button until the bids get high enough that they start thinning out, and then I'd place it up for auction with the next bid. That's just me :)

Good luck, interesting name. At first glance it doesn't look like much, but when you delve a little deeper (egad, excuse me for using the word 'delve')(and for 'egad'), it's a hidden gem.

thanks mate I was very surprised when the bids and the parking earnings started happening, I am going to keep it for a good few years and then see what I can get for it. The name has already paid for it self for the next few years so will just hang on to it. Going to move it from 1and1.co.uk over to godaddy:)

Thanks for the time given Bannen :)

If the people in New York City want the domain I hope it gets a lot more then 20 bids plus with more $$$$

As all ny and nyc and other combos are taken whats the next best thing are these letters :) which suits me fine.

Also note that the owner of NWYK,com had a $4500 offer recently for that name, according to his post on DNF. Coupling that with the unusually quick/high number of views on your sedo listing (I don't mean uniques, I mean only to the listing), I'm wondering if a lot of people/domainers maybe thought it would be a good idea to try pick up your name for xx or low xxx on spec.

If you don't mind posting, what kind of range are those offers in? That might tell us if it's domainers or end users making those offers.

I also nabbed NW-YK.com. For $16, figured I'd take the long shot on these two, doesn't hurt :) Let's see if you started something here. That's as far as I go, though. Thinking more of possible traffic than sales, just tasting the names.

EDIT: well, if one afternoon is any indication, you've made a believer out of me; after only a few hours, already 6 views and 4 clicks... and that's without any shenanigans, ha. For a name regged out of the blue, I must say that's the quickest action I've seen for a fresh reg rather than a bought or expired name with previous backlinks/traffic. Let's see how it continues, you may have stumbled upon something with that certain keyword/letter layout, but a week or two more will tell the tale. I may just owe you a beer.

No traff for nw-yk yet though, and I won't be regging any more of these names.
