Not worth developing?

Is it possible to have a domain that is not worth developing?

I know it's a pretty bland and general question. I just would like some thoughts on what other np members might think of that.

What type of domain. Granted aldskjfalsdkjflkaj.com is not worth developing but who would buy alsdkfjasldjf.com? So if you have a name and its connected to a niche of some sort i would say develop it.

You have to give us a clue. What kind of domain? Every domain registered with a bit of common sense is worth developing.

Early on I bought airline-tickets-cheap.info. Put a two page site on it with tips on buying cheap tickets and international travel in general.

All major extensions were taken, really great keywords.

After a year it was getting about three uniques per month. Maybe two hyphens are search engine poison as some people said, maybe it was too long, whatever. I moved the site to CTIK.com, droped the original name, and it now is growing nicely.

My rule, in light of the above - develop names that I would want to own as a domain investment.
