Hiya guys. Not urgent this one but when you get a minute would love your ideas on value and/or potential of these domains I've picked up over the last couple of days..

buyaswimsuit.co.uk
buyaswimsuit.com

Not the most popular term, 'swimsuit', but I've seen a lot worse

platinumpooch.com
(and registered platinumpooches just in case!)

This one I might well develop.. designer doggy clothes and accessories.. big business in America!

Not usually what I'd go for but trying my darndest to stick to brandables! Is it working??!

Great domains there - easy to remember and straight to the point. It can't be branded however, so you'll have to have an online shop sort of concept. Low to Mid $XXX

platinumpooch.com

I don't think the platinum goes well with the pooch :P. Platinum is also a word often misspelt - Low $XX.

Agreed and would be well worth your while to do so. A couple of years ago I had a booth at my local arts/crafts festival and was right next to a couple of ladies selling that very ware. They were by FAR the most popular booth at the festival and can assure you they made several thousand that day and I would imagine had similar success all sring/summer and fall as they toured the southern festival curcuit. Just imagine how well worth their business while it would be to have had business cards with that URL on it to pass out to each customer for FUTURE sells far beyond the on the spot cash ones they were getting.

When you sell a domain name I would strongly advise keeping in mind the potential return on investment for your buyers. There is no business sense in selling something for a little bit of money that will make the RIGHT buyer a TON of money. No less than $5000. And Helen, get yourself a 10x10 (biggest you can have without having to pay double space fees at many fests) portable canopy and get yourself signed up to sell directly in festivals! give those cards out to each customer (and browser) and watch the $ roll in, k? Wait...forgot the most important thing...make sure you have 3 or 4 of the cutest little doggies on earth there in your tent showing off the goods...kids will want to pet them, everyone will just fawn all over them! You'll have to find a way to sneak away and grab a bite to eat in between surges of customers!

Wow Daniel thanks so much for taking the time to reply, and for providing so much inspiration!! :tu: That is such a great idea and one that I can really see working. IMHO, and only MHO, I think the name is memorable and marketable, but what we ourselves see, against others perceptions is sometimes vastly different, as you see on this forum every day, lol!!

Thanks again D, much appreciated.

Any other thoughts before I lay this one to bed and pack up for my hols??!
