status-resolved Not receiving alerts from a thread I am watching

i dont know what the problem is but I am not getting alerts from this thread even though I am watching it. Weird.

I am not receiving alerts from the following the thread, eventhough I am watching the thread.

I use to revive alerts but about a week ago, I stopped receiving alerts and looks like I am not the only one.

@Eric Lyon . I had a auction thread last week that im pretty sure i should of been getting updates on, but didnt get ANY at all.

Anyway, I unwatched the thread and then re-watched it, and i got the alerts just fine.

It might be worth looking into if other members come forward with same/similar issues.

There are no known issues with alerts. All systems are operating as expected, and all tests have passed.

Notifications are a commonly misunderstood feature. Please read this page to understand how they work:

Specifically:

• You'll only receive one alert from a watched thread until you view all new posts in that thread. If you haven't viewed all of the new posts in a thread since you received an alert, you won't receive any further alerts about the thread until you do.
