I signed up to domainhop, and immediately started sending them the typeins from one of my high-traffic typo domains. A few hours later, just as I was just getting comfortable with the site features (which looked nice BTW), when BAM! ... my account gets deactivated. I email support, and so far no answer. No advice about what I did wrong, no nothing. Just took my traffic and went, with nary a thanks. >:(

Oh well. At least there's a plethora of choices out there.

I had a similar experience with them. One day they just closed down my account with no explanation (and never paid me the $75+ I had coming).I emailed them and they got back to me weeks later. They told me I was choosing the wrong categories for my domains(?). First of all,I absolutely wasn't.I chose very specific, correct categories for each domain.Secondly,if it were true..how can that be a violation serious enough to have my account suspended? Instead of emailing me about it beforehand, they simply shut down my entire account.
After reading thier poorly written email about my suspension,I didn't even want to fight with them.I've heard many people with similar stories, they're obviously not very professional. There's plenty of better options out there.

I think PPC services are going through a real tough period. Some of them are being clobbered by click fraud, and some of them just didn't do their home work and started off with an unworkable business plan. Unfortunately the fallout affects people who use their services, This, of course, is wrong. I've had a lot of problems recently, none of which were caused by any wrongdoing on my part.

I don't advise simply walking away. It only encourages them to continue being sloppy. I would recommend being patient while they deal with their problems, but I wouldn't walk away from any money. Anyone who cancels my account and refuses to pay will be reported to the BBB, FTC, and sued.

I had a similar situation with DomainHop

I had 3 domains 2 months ago that I decided to park with them.
I signed up, got rejected the first time. Then after I asked them to verify my domains again they accepted. I was pretty happy there for 3 days as it generated more than a buck each day, but then on the 4th day, I couldn't loggin at all. Later on I found out they suspended my account. I immediately emailed them, but they never replied.

Now I've moved to DomainSponsor and I must say they seem better than DomainHop ( in keeping their customers at least )

(Knocking VERY HARD on wood but so far so good)
But yes, I have heard some folks complain about getting canned. In all honesty, I felt that some people probably did have it coming for fraud clicks and the like (As it was the same people complaining about being banned by Google), but now that it's Armstrong expressing problems, I don't think that can be the case.
Best of luck in getting it resolved, and I wish you the best of luck.

disconcerning.

while the domains I have parked are probably quite "small time" compared to what a lot of people here have, I would be ticked if they randomly decided to drop my account. It isn't the money, but the time I put into each.

Not a good sign, when they start closing accounts with no explanation.

But there are plenty of others out there, that pay much better than DH.

Not a word. :( Its really no way to do business, just brushing off prospective clients without any explanation. Don't they know the power of word-of-mouth?

They (DH) aren't businesses but a bunch of scammers! They closed my acc without clear reasons. DH ows me hard earned $x,xxx. I've posted my case here ->http://www.namepros.com/showpost.php?p=450094&postcount=10 however, it seems that it was just ignored. Whelp, this should give a caution.

$x,XXX??? oh hell... if you've truly done nothing wrong.. I would absolutely take them to court.

and make MUCH MORE noise about it. the last thing an upstart parking place wants is a bad reputation.

Truly... most honestly... I done NOTHING wrong

I live outside the US so I guess it's impossible for an ordinary guy like me

I had the same problem with them.

Joined, added my domains (only 2 domains) and then I checked them after a few hours to see if they work. I don't even remember clicking my own .. on the links.

After another few hours ... the account was no longer there. I also mailed support, but nothing happend. No reply from them.

If I was really doing something wrong they should have taken time to let me know what the fault for being deleted was. No news since then and it's about 2 months now ... I don't even wait for their response ...

Looks like 2 people outside the U.S. had their accounts deleted. I wonder if that's a trend and is a part of what they are up to.
