Norton Internet Security - Script error.

When I open up Norton Internet Security, I'm greeted by this pleasant error message...

An error has occured in the script on this page.

I know the computer was infected by adware, but the latest scan on it revealed nothing. In addition, when trying to manually remove the file, I was unable to locate it. :td:

I would contact Symantic support and ask them how to fix this issue

I'd do that too, except for the fact that they have a $29.95 charge per incident as I'm aware...

I had the same problem this morning. Could not connect to any web page whilst Norton Firewall was enabled. Disabled Norton and all was fine. Although was not good enough as i need Norton...

To fix the problem (took me a while):

Uninstall ALL Norton applications.

Reinstall ALL Norton applications after computer restart.

When asked if you want to call on old configurations regarding program access etc. DO NOT CALL UPON OLD CONFIGS. Make Norton when installed, to learn everything again and gain all updates again...
