Northen Mariana (islands) its the name for MP extension, as USA.US .

The Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) is a commonwealth in political union with the United States of America at a strategic location in the West Pacific Ocean. It consists of 14 islands about three-quarters of the way from Hawaii to the Philippines, at 15°1′2″ N 145°4′5″ E.

I don't know that much about domains (yet), but I assume if you wait until the mp extension becomes more popular them the domain may be worth a lot.

Currently Reg fee. Hold on to it, and it will be worth much more when that extention gets a little bit more noticable.

OK my 2¢ on it...

First of all I think it is a good idea to invest in country domains. But you have to keep in mind that not all the ccTLDs have the same value.
In some countries national domains are well established - .DE or .CO.UK are prime examples. Other extensions like .TV or .FM have their own particular appeal.

Northen Mariana is a small country (and small market). Who really knows or can pinpoint this country on a world map ?
Ask the average American on the street about the US Commonwealth of Northen Mariana: I would bet very few if any have a clue what it's all about.
Moreover .MP does not sound so attractive when compared to other country extensions (200+).
Therefore I think it is highly unlikely IMHO that the extension will ever get on par with a ccTLD like .DE for example.
That being said I also believe a country name, whatever the extension, should always be worth more than reg fee.
My guesstimate would be low $$$$ in the long term, provided you bring some substance to the name (site, contents, information etc).
