How about we trade, I'll spend 5 mins with you about domain names, and you teach me to box in 5 mins? No, it's not possible you say? You say "If you learn boxing in '5 minutes' you'll get annihilated in the ring, fully."
Hmm, I wonder if most "professional" things are like that...?

If you ask a domainer for 5 mins of their time, even seasoned and knowledgeable one, you'll make no money from domaining. There's simply too much to know.


If it took 5 mins to learn domaining, half the world would be doing it. Just like stocks or any re-sale trade where a product has a specific marketplace, it takes a lot of learning, not 5 minutes, or 10 minutes, or an hour, or even a week, more, much more, and the learning never stops.


Importantly, to get the message across, there are no shortcuts, the "few quick and easy golden nuggets of info" which you seek to allow you to make money from domaining simply do not exist. There is a lot to know, a massive amount, and you will either:

1. Spend weeks and months reading and learning, and thus potentially make money in the domain name trade
2. Not make any money in the domain name trade
