1. Have you tried to use the Namecheap marketplace to find domains to buy? The least they can do is to cache the searches in the left sidebar ("no numbers" / "no hyphens" / "under $100"). Every click you do from the interface including simple page navigation starts off some creaky old mysql queries that can take up to a minute to bring back results. And other times it simply times out. Looking at 200 domains, 20 per page moving from page 1 to page 10, will take you at least 10 minutes.
2. Domains for sale in their marketplace don't even show up in the domain registration path! Failing to put these domains in front of searcher's eyes is a lost opportunity for thousands of dollars in sales a year.
"This domain is not available" and yet it has a cheap buy it now price on their marketplace.
I'd really like to use their marketplace some more but it really needs some fixing.
