Too niche indeed. Even the French version (for French people) would have no value.

I have to disagreed just a little here.

For a Parisian, who is into bistros, it makes sense.
It is not that it is too niched, but too area specific.

By itself not worth more than reg fee.

But developed?
Could be some bucks there.

Also, I kinda really did my research here. There are more exact searches for bistros in paris than any other location in the world... This would be really depressing if all I got was a reg fee sale.

Dang, that's true JustMeDude but isn't bistro like a synonym for restaurant?

Not exactly.

Edit: Dang, did not expect the url to turn into that. o.O

... I saw the word restaurant in there. I do know what a bistro is, and Paris really is the center of gourmet bistros so... I dunno man.

In NameBio there have been other sales like
http://namebio.com/restaurantsinparis.com
and http://namebio.com/hotelsinparis.com...

Are you guys really sure?
Foreign visitors are looking for hotels and restaurants so the two names you mention make sense for travelers, but 'bistros' is not in the same league. A bistro is more like a pub where you have a drink and possibly a chat with other people. Consumption of simple meals is also possible but it's not a regular restaurant. Still some bistros can be more upscale than average.
Now just because there have been 2 'comparable' sales doesn't mean there must be another sale.

Also, what's that obsession with search volume. Domains don't sell just because they have search volume. I have sold many domains with near zero searches.

ParisBistros.com is a parked page.
That is the best domain there is for bistros in paris.

Looks like it has been parked for a long time.
Meaning little to no interest in the domain?
Or the owner wants way more than anyone will pay?

So, that lowers your domain even more!

From nothing to pay me 28 cents to take it off your hands.

(j/k, I don't want the domain)

Thanks for saying this :cy:

Because I always thought that a good domain must has a high [exact] search volume and a self-explanatory name :gl:

So, a nice self-explanatory name (plus some marketing skill) is enough huh... :tu:

Maybe reg-fee on this one.

Nothing special that will jump out at someone.

WhereToEatInParis.com gets better search volume and is still available to reg.

Maybe promote the two names together as a pair.

Who knows, someone might see a light at the end of a dark tunnel.

Paris Bistros dot com would be the grandaddy of this niche imo, and as Iowa points out, it is parked.

Sorry, but I have to agree:
$0 undeveloped
And if you wanted to dev in this kw, you should go after the grandaddy mentioned above.
(no, it's not mine, nor do I have any affil with the owner)

Peace,
Cyberian
