As a general rule I don't like contacting "potential" end-users. But I needed to raise some cash. So I decided to go for it. I had an expired domain that I planned to let drop, but it occurred to me: what a waste. I emailed a prospect with a great deal on the name. About two hours later I got a reply, they accepted my price, the domain was renewed and transferred and the sale completed that very day. Not huge, low $xxx. Money in the bank.
