While being "cute" is one thing, a new member seeing the "$1,000 and up" might take it as gospel.

The prices have been the subject of much debate, just use the search function for nnnn.net .

A more accurate pricing would be mid $xx - $xxx depending on the numbers involved, I believe.

Most go for mid $xx as said above, but if its something easily memorable like 1000, 2000, 7777, then they will go for much higher.

As much as I would love to believe that these are trading for $1,XXX USD each (since I have a few hundred NNNN.net domains), I think Mr. AllanShore hit the nail on the head above. Mid $XX is a good base starting point, with better combos worthy of higher prices.

Speaking of NNNN.nets, I did see that 8020.net made Pool.com's hotlist for dropping domains for tomorrow (5/30). Seems odd, because this domain is developed and the site is still up and running. Perhaps it's backlash from being a RegFly domain.
