NNL.com: Any good?

I've just bought a NNL.com (Number Number Letter) .com domain name for £50 from my mate. Is it worth much? Develop? Sell?

All three character .coms are registered, and have been for a while.

I don't want to give out the actual domain but if it helps the first number in under 5 and the second is 0 and the letter is in latter part of the alphabet but not w, x, y or z. It was also registered in the year 2000.

Not a bargain, but fair deal, I'd say. A N0L.com is better a random 3 char.

My grasp of economics is somewhat limited but im assuming demand outstrips supply of NNL, prices people are willing to pay for these domains are only going to go up?

To talk Economic bs, demand is not directly changed.

As 3 char's all get registered, the supply of cheap 3 char .com's drops, so people looking to having 3 char's will have to settle for higher prices.

However, with higher prices, demand is in turn increased, because as domainers see that 3 char .com's rise in value, more and more people are demanding them to resell and gain some profit.

So, in turn, the price will rise even more, and even more domainers will demand them.

This cycle alone cannot be sustained. However, this cycle will lead to more 3 char .com's being developed, and many of them may get successful and their owners become rich.(note I'm saying some will become rich, many will fail, but that doesn't matter, people don't notice them much) Then, 3 char .com's become a known money-maker, and the demand for them will become even higher.

IMO, the value of 3 char com's will keep rising, until someday should there be another .com bust.

well three character doamins are valuable if the keywords are high ... you can sell it for atleast 75 USD$ easily so you are going to make profit anyways...

some NNL.com are very rare but not alot, though the advantage this domain has is that this name has a 6 year history ...

that is good

if you can develop it then go for it because that will bump the value

well all are regged..they have a value wif them at least but to develop one then better be a good easy to remember one..

have you noticed that three chars .com usually get type in....
and you can at least pay for the regge fee.....i think they are a good investment
especially since three letter .com are 2000 to 4000 min!!

now if the big investers start to buy them we are in for it,, and i personally know at least a few of them are secretly gathering them..... but they must do it slowly with out musch notice or they will rise and then they would have to pay more..... there will be a time when its ripe....... the three chars

And if you try to sell it now you wont get much
out of it which you have paid for right now.
so would sujest that you hold on to it.
