So I'm going to sell this domain pretty soon and in my opinion, its a jewel.

NintendoSNES.com

The Nintendo SNES (Super Nintendo Entertainment System) is one of the best selling consoles of all time. Enormously popular games like Super Mario Kart, Final Fantasy III, Super Metroid, Super Mario World, The Legend of Zelda, and Mortal Kombat II, all were featured on this console, some of them selling up to 40 million copies.

What's great about the SNES today is that its become something that people love to collect (and spend a ton of money on). Take a look at these links:

Some SNES games are selling for up to $1200.

That's why I believe this domain is worth so much. If marketed properly, it can be turned into a home base for those auctioning their SNES goods. It could be a blog for SNES emulation or even just a forum for people to talk about the console.

* Google Results for "Nintendo SNES": 1,070,000
* Google Results for "SNES": 16,700,000

A few days back I got a $400 offer on it...

So, please, how much do you think it is worth?

I was original registrant of this domain. I couldn't sell it for years and I let it drop. If you really have a $400 offer...take it now.

btw..I still have a great coded template for the domain if you want it cheap ($25) with PSD too.

To be honest...I don't believe you have a $400 offer.

Here is proof btw:

Couldn't sell it for $3!

If Nintendo finds out you're trying to make money off their trademark, you might as well just give up on life. Because you won't have one no more. WIPO will be in touch with you I'm sure.

I don't see why anyone would offer you $400 since they could get NintendoSNES.net for $10.

LMAO, look what he posted on the site.. Yeah like that's gonna save your butt from a lawsuit.

NintendoSNES is not in any way affiliated with or sponsored by Nintendo Inc.
We are not retailers of Nintendo's products and we are not offering services like technical support.

There is not one time where they went after a fan site...even ones making money.

So all this talk about the domain being worthless because of possible TM infringement makes me laugh. You could call Nintendo yourself and "snitch" if you want. I bet they won't do a thing.

Wipo search results...2 WIPO decisions.

1. i-nintendo in 2000
2. nintendo-gamecube.com in 2001

One can safely say Nintendo has realized the value of fan sites and the hassle of trying to stop them.

I have created a lot of great Nintendo fan sites off their games and system. Never once have they contacted me nor anyone else I know that runs these sites.

Its funny how half of you guys said its TM infringing (tucal, lmfao), but then private message me saying you'll buy it for $20 to get it off my hands. Haha. Hipocrites.

To be honest Labrocca, I really do have a $400 offer. And to me, it makes sense too. Thanks for your input.

:great: LOL, everyone was owned on this thread, looking to lowball offer. Just don't squat on or use as rom/torrent site, you will be fine. I think a 300$-500$ value is about right on it.

BTW- :lala: thenintendo.com is for sale at Sedo Auction

Haha thanks Method :)

How successful are Sedo sales, anyways? Maybe I should put my domain up there.
