Nintendo Revolution To Be Renamed

According to CVG, there's "a strong whisper that the Nintendo Revolution's real name will finally be confirmed this week" at GDC.

That might upset all the domain speculators who gambled on the "Revolution" name remaining the same.

That would be pretty ironic indeed! I'm just glad I didn't register any revolution domain names. Now if PS3, gets renamed then I will defininely be upset with my domain porftolio, but I don't think thats very likely to happen...

Same here with the Rev names, I didn't pick up any.

No chance PS3 gets changed! Haha.

Perhaps it's online gaming or downloads from Nintendo... Nintendo Gaming Online. "Go" is a popular Japanese game, I don't think this will work as the name. I also heard that "GO" is "5" in Japanese, and this is Nintendo's 5th gaming console.

Does anyone agree that "Nintendo Go" would be a better handheld system? Since you can take it with you...

I can't say I like this possible name change, and I think it's unlikely that they will change it. But what do I know?

i havnt bothered to check specs etc
maybe they changed the name becuase it wasnt going to be a real revolution
