Nice Uptick in Yahoo Feed Clicks and Payout

Have any of you folks noticed that the Yahoo feeds are now delivering more ppc clicks and ultimately more revenue? We have seen a pleaseant uptick since the launch of Yahoo's new Panama system.

We just did a small domain experiment with Yahoo to see if it was worth looking into more. Many domains that performed worse at Yahoo before now perform better at Yahoo than Google.

I advise that if anyone has not tried it yet, select a few good domains and check out if you getter a better return at a Yahoo feed. On a handful we got close to almost doubling revenue over Google, on many others a 10 to 20 increase over Google. Of course, there are still those domains that just will do better at Google no matter what.

I guess I did not make it clear. I was speaking of "Domain Parking".

Yes, there is a surge occuring in the clicks and payout at the Yahoo feeds. I expect it to continue as the advertisers wake up to PANAMA and start to increase their bids. Maybe the surfers will like the more relevant ads too, which is what PANAMA is supposed to be all about, and maybe they will start using Yahoo more now that their search needs are being satisfied better.

How many times have you looked at one of your domains at it is loaded with
BizRate, Ebay, Shopping, etc..... instead of the true players that represent that product or service your domain represents? This is what Yahoo's new PANAMA is trying to get rid of. Those companies I just mentioned now have to raise their prices more to get to the top, which makes it less desireable for them since they are not as "on target" as the "real" merchants and probably won't convert good enough to justify the high bid price.

I hope PANAMA puts a fist in Google's pie hole and levels the field between the two - it will be healthy for all of us if that happens.

I'm so sick of Google's lame ads on my domains. It really seem intentional to make our parked pages inferior to searching on Google. They don't want us being equally, or more relevant, than a Google search.
