Nigeria recently lowered the registration fee for the .ng TLD; perhaps they actually want purchasers. On the other hand, the .pr (Puerto Rico) TLD costs $1,400 p.a.; either they want us to just go away or there are PR (public relations) firms willing to foot the bill.
